This position will partner with the leadership team to develop, deliver and facilitate people development initiatives that support the strategic business objectives of ACH Food Companies, Inc., and serve as a key executive within the organization and on the HR team.


  • BUSINESS PARTNER - Manages and leads the Human Resources business partner organization and partners with senior leaders in the delivery and execution of our strategic initiatives.
  • TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT – Manages and leads ACH Food Companies, Inc. Training and Development Strategies. Develops and manages the organization's master training plan and people development programs. Provides coaching and leadership to all levels of the organization. Proactively align with ABF (ACH parent company) European and globally based colleagues to ensure alignment and coordination of key initiatives.
  • RECRUITING AND ONBOARDING – Oversees corporate Talent Acquisition and the company's on-boarding processes and initiatives by actively working with the Talent Acquisition lead to ensure desired outcomes.
  • RECRUITING COMMUNICATIONS – Aligns with head of Talent Acquisition to develop marketing materials (print, social and digital) with the objective of branding and sharing ACH's great employee value proposition and to ensure we are best positioned as a valued and great place to work.
  • EMPLOYEE RELATIONS – Provides guidance and counsel to management and employees alike regarding professional and organizational matters. Sets organizational policies and standards to ensure an effective organization.
  • TALENT & SUCCESSION PLANNING – Leads ACH's Talent Management processes and actively facilitates organizational succession plans, high potential development and inventories. Aligns regularly with members of the leadership team to identify development and succession planning needs. Manages the executive and functional talent review processes. Proactively align with ABF (ACH parent company) European and globally based colleagues to ensure alignment and coordination of key initiatives.
  • PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT – Oversees the performance management process including design, job competencies, continued education and training, culture change, quality of feedback, development planning and goal setting all directed toward continually raising the bar on performance and performance feedback.
  • ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN- Responsible for aligning organizational strategy of the company with strategic business priorities, improving process and management effectiveness to ensure the ongoing growth and development of the business. Plays a critical role aligning with executive leadership team to ensure appropriate organizational structure(s).
  • POLICY AND COMPLIANCE- Responsible for the policy and compliance including annual review and updates.
  • DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION – Leads the strategic development and execution of ACH's DE&I efforts and responsible for helping create a diverse and equitable work environment, policies and practices. Ensures the application of these efforts across the entire life cycle of HR and organizational practice.
  • MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS – Assists in the review and assessment of acquisition targets, particularly upon the integration and/or determination of future and ongoing work arrangement and practices.


  • BS degree in Industrial / organizational Psychology, Organizational Management, Human Resources or related business field required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of human resource and training/organizational development experience with demonstrated competence in organizational design, planning, service delivery and evaluation. Manufacturing/Front-line & Corporate related positions and experience a plus.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Certification with multiple OD intervention methods preferred.
